"Milan" director Massimo Mirabelli confirmed that the team does not intend to hold on tightly to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 19-year-old player faced a wave of criticism after a very poor performance in the Italian Cup final, where they lost 0-4 to Turin's "Juventus" team.
"We must always defend him. Of course, as with other players, anything can happen. We are not ready to let go of Gianluigi easily, unless someone pays the amount he is worth," the director said.
"If we receive a good enough offer, then any player can be sold. There are wealthier clubs in the world, but we have chosen a different direction."
