The club officially confirmed on Tuesday that they have extended contracts with three footballers: goalkeeper Flavio Roma, defender Thiago Silva, and midfielder Mark van Bommel.
One of the best players of this season, Silva, has put his signature on a contract that will be valid until the summer of 2016. This denies all rumors that the player may move to Real Madrid, Barcelona, or one of the English teams.
Meanwhile, veterans Roma and Van Bommel were soon to become free agents, but now they have tied their future to AC Milan until the end of next season.
The future of other footballers whose contracts are expiring is still unclear. Among them are such famous names as Alessandro Nesta, Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf, and Filippo Inzaghi.
