Striker Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that the club has reached an agreement with two new defenders: Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo.
Mexes, representing "Roma", and Taiwo, wearing the jersey of "Marseille", will soon become free agents, so they will move to Milan without a transfer fee.
"Our squad will be supplemented by Mexes and Taiwo, so I believe that the defense line for the next season is formed," Allegri said. "Now we need to assess the midfield and the attack, but at the moment our focus is on the semi-final of the Italian Cup."
Forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will also remain at the club, as he is formally loaned from the "Barcelona" team. The Swede himself said: "Of course, I am staying here. We have a new project and we will aim to win the Champions League."
Furthermore, there are rumors that "Milan" will try to bring back Brazilian Kaka. The defender, representing Madrid's "Real", does not fit into the main lineup of the Spanish team, and the competition in his position will be even greater next season, as "Real" acquired young defender Nuri Sahin.
