"Corriere dello Sport" reports that AC Milan, after failing to acquire Porto star Jackson Martinez, are ready to shake the money for Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.
Until now, it was believed that the Rossoneri would try to bring back another PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the possibility of the veteran leaving France is slim.
On the other hand, Cavani is not very happy with his role in the team, as coach Laurent Blanc often places the Uruguayan in an unusual position on the flank.
According to the Italian newspaper, the "fashion capital" team promises to offer 50-55 million euros to the Ligue 1 champions. The Parisians themselves paid 60 million euros for Cavani two years ago.
The 28-year-old forward scored 31 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions this season.
