31-year-old Croatian national team defender Ivan Strinič has been diagnosed with a heart condition.
"Milan" announced on their official website that after a medical examination, heart problems were detected in the defender. I. Strinič was immediately transferred to specialists and will now have to forget about football for an unlimited period of time.
This summer, I. Strinič played until the final of the World Cup. "Milan" acquired him just this summer, but he has not yet had the chance to play a single match.
There are currently no predictions on how long I. Strinič's rehabilitation process may take.
Before moving to Milan, he played for "Sampdoria".
