Massimiliano Mirabelli, sports director of "Milan" who fell to the second part of the "Serie A" league table, revealed that no more newcomers will arrive in winter.
During the offseason, "rossoneri" added more than ten footballers, but despite huge ambitions, the team does not demonstrate good performance.
The "Fashion Capital" club has already dismissed coach Vincenzo Montella, and after Gennaro Gattuso took his place, they lost points even to the hopeless "Benevento".
"I am constantly working - it's important to stay informed about everything," Mirabelli told "Gazetta dello Sport". "This month I will be in Germany and will watch several matches, but in January we will not buy anything."
"We will not do anything - I say this to you as official information. There may be a few exceptions, but these will be small things."
"I want to ask, if buying 11 players, in your opinion, would the 12th acquisition be a correct move? We had a great transfer window in the summer, but I do not feel nostalgic about it, everything will come in time."
Mirabelli also defended the club's decision to acquire such a large number of newcomers, because, according to him, not a single one of them was overpaid, and together they form a great group.
