The 38-year-old footballer, after almost two years spent in the MLS championships, decided to return to Europe.
It is speculated that Ibrahimovic's goal is the "Serie A" championship, where he spent a huge part of his career. According to reports, "AC Milan" club is the most likely contender to bring back the striker.
Fabrizio Romano reported that on Wednesday, "AC Milan" officials met with Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola. During the meeting, they discussed Ibrahimovic's current situation and the conditions that would satisfy both parties.
No official negotiations have started yet, but both sides agreed to continue the conversation next week.
Ibrahimovic played for "AC Milan" for two years. The Swedish player helped the "rossoneri" team win the Italian champions title by scoring 56 goals in 85 matches.
