Coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted to being surprised that the team was joined by Brazilian Robinho just before the end of the summer transfer window.
In the last days of summer, the Italian club not only shook hands with him, but also with Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimović.
"I did not expect such a reinforcement like Robinho," Allegri told Milan's TV channel. "He is a top-level footballer.
"This is a wonderful gift from owner Silvio Berlusconi, for which I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart."
