"Milan" owner Silvio Berlusconi revealed that he finally sold the club and hopes that it will succeed in returning to the elite of Italian football.
"Rossoneri" have not made it to the top six of Serie A in the last three seasons, so fans have been demanding changes for a long time.
The former Italian Prime Minister had been looking for a buyer for the club for a long time, but he finally managed to reach a deal worth 400 million euros.
The new owners will be an unnamed Chinese conglomerate.
"I sold Milan to a group that can revitalize it and bring it back to the top of Italy, Europe, and the world," Berlusconi said.
"I demanded that they invest 400 million euros in the next two years. This is an important group that has dealings with the Chinese state."
