"Milan" will have to land on the ground - a tenth defeat for "Genoa" club (VIDEO)

While important meetings are taking place in other countries, today the tenth round of "Serie A" started in Italy. In the only evening match in Genoa, the local "Genoa" met "Juventus" from Turin, who beat "Milan" over the weekend.

Just a few days ago, the "rossoneri" were in euphoria, but today the joy had to be forgotten already in the 11th minute of the match, when Nikola Ninkovič scored after a head pass from Tomaso Rincon.

Vincenzo Montella's players had territorial advantage and could have recovered, but after playing the same amount of time in the second half, center-back Gabriel Paletta was sent off for a foul against the opponent.

Then the task became really challenging for the opponents. The hosts of the field scored their second goal in the 80th minute when Juraj Kucka redirected the ball into his own net, and the third goal in the 86th minute by Leonardo Pavoletti.

This failure means that "Milan" missed the opportunity to temporarily overtake Turin's "Juventus" in the standings, and after tomorrow's matches, they will most likely drop to third or fourth place.

Meanwhile, "Genoa" climbs to seventh place.
