In January, London's striker Didier Drogba would like to borrow.
The vice president of an Italian club, Adriano Galliani, confirmed that the Ivory Coast national team star is one of the main candidates to fill the gap left by Antonio Cassano after his heart surgery.
"I have loved Drogba immensely since his time at Marseille," said Galliani to the newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport." "We have not yet decided whether we will acquire anyone in January. If we do, it will only be through a loan agreement, as I promised Cassano to keep his place."
He also added that they are interested in another Chelsea striker, Nicolas Anelka, and Manchester City's attacking leader, Mario Balotelli, but the chances of acquiring them are very slim.
This season in the English Championship, Drogba played 7 matches and scored one goal.
