London's "Fulham" team said goodbye to the head coach Martin Jol.

The team's management patience ran out. After a crushing defeat in an away match against "West Ham United," the club's administration made the decision to dismiss the coach from the Netherlands.

After 13 rounds, the capital club has only gathered 10 points and sits in 18th place in the standings, which would mean relegation to the second division at the end of the season.

The new head coach of the team is former assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson at "Manchester United," Rene Meulensteen.

In mid-November, R. Meulensteen joined the coaching staff of "Fulham" as M. Jol's assistant, but now the Dutchman will take over the team's reins from his fellow countryman.

The 49-year-old R. Meulensteen has also worked in Qatari clubs in the past, and this summer he also coached the team of Makhachkala's "Anzhi." However, the Dutchman didn't last a month in Russia.
