M.Lippi talks about hallucinations: UEFA must apologize to C.Ronaldo

Legendary Italian coach Marcello Lippi did not miss the incident that resonated throughout the football world, when in the Champions League match against "Valencia" the Turin "Juventus" forward Cristiano Ronaldo was scandalously sent off the field.

According to the specialist, the referee made a gross mistake, and the UEFA organization should at least not impose disqualification.

"The red card was given to C.Ronaldo by a person who was hallucinating.

One cannot compromise the game and the tournament itself with such episodes, which could later result in a two-match disqualification.

Now UEFA should find the courage within itself and say, "Gentlemen, we made a mistake."

We cannot turn back time, because the forward has already been sent off the field, but an additional suspension would be absurd.

C.Ronaldo should not be punished further and VAR should be immediately integrated into the Champions League," said M.Lippi.
