Former Milan's "Inter" owner Massimo Moratti denies rumors that the "Serie A" team is planning to buy "Barcelona" star Lionel Messi in the near future.
"I have never heard any talks about acquiring the forward.
Maybe a big transfer will happen sometime in the future after the reorganization, but right now such talks are not happening," the wealthy man said.
Moratti also shared his thoughts on the work done by the current team strategist Stefano Pioli and the achieved seven consecutive victories.
"He is a great strategist and the results prove it - "Inter" is in a good period.
Champions League? We need to take it step by step and at the end of the season we will see what the final results are."
Currently, the "Inter" team is in seventh place in the "Serie A" league.
