"Bayern" Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is rapidly recovering from a foot injury.
The 32-year-old German has already started light ball training and has taken another step towards returning to the team and appearing at the World Cup in Russia.
The leaders of Bayern hope that the veteran will be able to return to the field by the end of the Bundesliga season.
Neuer has not played since undergoing a foot operation last September.
Currently, he is being replaced in the Bayern team by 29-year-old compatriot Sven Ulreich.
