Mocked "Puma" Distributed a Public Letter

The match between the Swiss and French teams became memorable for many football fans.

However, not because of the goal fest on the pitch, as the match ended 0:0.

Vladimir Petkovic's players had to frequently turn to the support staff for new jerseys, as the French simply tore them apart.

It was estimated that at least four Swiss players wearing the brand "Puma" were seen in torn sportswear.

After the game, one of their leaders Xherdan Shaqiri made a joke: "I hope that 'Puma' doesn't manufacture condoms."

Today, the company released a public statement apologizing for the poor quality product:

"Puma" immediately started an investigation into the incident. We supply the same technology clothing to four more European Championship teams (Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, and Slovakia), and their federations have confirmed that they have never had similar problems and are very satisfied with the product quality.

It was found that a fabric part of one jersey, used only in a small portion of the shipment intended for the Swiss team, had certain discrepancies.

The clothing for all teams was produced in Turkey."
