On Sunday afternoon, the "AS Monaco" team unexpectedly suffered a defeat at home.
Visiting the Principality of Monaco, the football players of "Montpellier" defeated the local team 4-0.
Arnaud Nordin put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute. Faitout Maouassa scored in the 65th minute.
Nordin scored another goal in the 72nd minute, and shortly after Stephy Mavididi added the final nail in the coffin.
"AS Monaco" is now drifting further away from a place in the Champions League. Moreover, the Monegasques are being closely chased by the "Lille" team, which aims to compete for a place in the Europa League.
