"Monaco" club vice president Vadimas Vasilyevas denied rumors that striker Radamel Falcao could join Madrid's "Real" next summer. The president of the Royal club, Florentino Perez, recently admitted interest in the 27-year-old Colombian, and some press sources spread information that R. Falcao could move to "Santiago Bernabeu" for a certain amount. However, V. Vasilyevas insists that there is no buyout clause in the striker's contract and selling him in the near future would be illogical. "I know Florentino and I respect him a lot. He runs one of the best clubs in the world, but some of his statements were inappropriate," said the "Monaco" vice president. "Falcao signed a five-year contract and I've already said a hundred times that there is no buyout clause. We put in a lot of effort to acquire him and selling him in January or next summer would be unreasonable," Vasilyevas firmly believes. R. Falcao's contract with "Monaco" club is valid until June 2018."
