"Roma" sports director Monchi insists that he is not giving up hope to advance to the UEFA Champions League final.
This hope was saved by two goals scored at the end of yesterday's match, as before that "Liverpool" had already scored five goals against the capital club of Italy.
Dreaming of the "Giallorossi" is also allowed by their performance in the quarterfinals, where they lost 4-1 against "Barcelona", but advanced to the next stage at home with a 3-0 victory.
"This is a tough moment, we were in good form before these matches and the result is not good," Monchi told the official "Roma" website.
"However, before the last 10 minutes we were already out of the tournament. Now we still have some hope and we must take advantage of this small chance and do what we did against 'Barcelona'.
The sports director believes in the mindset of the "Giallorossi".
"I always believe in my team. It will be tough, but we have done it before, so they know they cannot underestimate us," added Monchi.
"We trust in ourselves and believe in it. The fans will support us - 90 minutes at the 'Olimpico' stadium can be very long."
