"Roma" sports director Monchi believes that his team deservedly reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Eusebio di Francesco's players unexpectedly defeated "Barcelona" 3-0 at home yesterday, after the Catalan club had won the first leg 4-1.
The "Giallorossi" reaching the next stage was sensational not only because they overturned a huge deficit, but also because the Catalans were considered the main favorites of the strongest European tournament.
"In my opinion, we were the best, much better than "Barcelona"," said Monchi.
"They have Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, but the feeling was that we could score."
