The impressive journey at the World Cup staged by the Moroccan national team still ended in the tournament semifinals, where they were defeated by the French national team.
After the loss, Moroccan coach Walid Regragui praised his team and stated that the defeat does not erase everything his team accomplished in the tournament.
"The most important thing is that we showed our good side and that football exists in Morocco.
We gave our all. This loss does not erase what we did during the championship," - W. Regragui spoke with TF1 after the loss.
