Maskva announced on Monday that the club will be joined in the summer by the defender of the Greek national team and last season's UEFA Champions League winner.

The owner of "Dinamo," Aleksei Fedorychev, who is spending extravagant amounts of money this season, told the Russian newspaper "Sport-Express" that G. Seitaridis has signed a five-year contract with the Moscow club, and "Porto" will receive 10 million euros for this transfer, which will be finalized on July 1.

The representative of the famous Greek football family, G. Seitaridis, will join three former teammates in Moscow club: on July 1, Portuguese stars Costinha and Maniche from "Porto" will come for 20 million euros, along with Brazilian Derlei, who joined the club for 7.5 million euros before the season.

A.Fedorychev is often compared to London's "Chelsea" owner Roman Abramovich for his extravagant spending. Since acquiring the former police club last year, he has spent more than 60 million euros on player acquisitions.

A.Fedorychev himself claims he intends to spend about another hundred million euros on acquisitions over the next two years and turn "Dinamo" into not only the strongest club in Russia, but also a powerful force in Europe.

Despite the impressive lineup, "Dinamo" has not shown strong gameplay this year, and after four consecutive defeats in the Russian championship, the position of head coach was left by one of the most famous Russian coaches, Oleg Romantsev.
