It seems that in August the strongest European teams will gather in Portugal. As reported by "Bild," UEFA has decided to move the remaining 2019-20 Champions League season matches to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. Frankfurt, Moscow, and Istanbul, where this season's final was supposed to take place, also competed for the right to host the tournament battles. According to the mentioned source, Lisbon was chosen because Portugal is among the countries in Europe that have been least affected by the coronavirus. There are four second-leg matches left to play in the Champions League. Eight teams will continue their fight in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The season is planned to resume on August 8th.
