This week, the voting for the best Lithuanian football players of 2022 started and is gaining momentum.
There are a total of 14 nominations in the voting, with some of them already knowing their winners - the three most prolific players from the Lithuanian championships.
It is already clear that the award for the most prolific player of the Optibet A League will go to former Lithuanian champion Vilnius "Žalgiris" sniper Renan Oliveira. He has scored 17 goals.
However, the Brazilian who arrived in Lithuania from Ukraine on loan basis will not play in the Lithuanian capital next season - it has been officially confirmed that he will spend the next year in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Despite this, the trophies for the league's top scorer will still remind him of his time in Lithuania.

As usual, the most prolific players of the Optibet First League are also evaluated during the awards ceremony. Interestingly, this year, two players who scored the most goals in the league will be included in this category.
They are Kėdainiai "Nevėzis" forward Jevhen Mohyla and Plungė "Babrungas" attacking leader Alessandro Pinheiro Martins Junior, both of whom scored 16 goals for their teams.
However, it was Mohyla's goals that were more valuable to the Kėdainiai club - "Nevėzis" finished third in the overall standings, while Plungė had to settle for sixth place.

The most prolific player of the Spark Energy Women's A League, representing FK "Vilnius," Khrystyna Pereviznyk, will also receive an award.
The Ukrainian helped the capital's team achieve its best position in its short history - third place in the Lithuanian women's championship, while becoming the league's top scorer with 16 goals.
