Jose Mourinho wants to win Champions League trophies with the Madrid club.
The leaders of the Spanish championship will meet in the quarterfinals of this tournament with the surprisingly far-off modest Nicosia APOEL team.
"I want to win in the Champions League quarterfinals and reach the semifinals for the second time in a row. This is especially important knowing how long "Real" hadn't even been in the first pot of the draw," said the Portuguese.
"When I arrived, we were not among the strongest clubs and that put us in a difficult situation during the draw. Now we have earned the most points and should return to the first pot. I want to restore "Real" to its proper status."
The first match in Nicosia will take place on March 27, and the return match in Madrid on April 4.
