Mourinho: we will attack when we have the ball © EuroFootball.com

Madrid strategist Jose Mourinho assures that in the King's Cup final on Wednesday his protégés will have equal chances to celebrate victory.

Portugal also criticized Real legend Alfredo Di Stefano, who did not like the team's defensive tactics in the first of four "El Clasico" matches on Saturday.

"I don't want to say anything special, because in the final there is never a favorite," he said. "The teams' chances are equal. I hope the match will be great, we will avoid unpleasant incidents in the stands and on the streets.

These words are typical for a final, but I believe in them. I have participated in several final matches where the opponents were stronger than my team, but they were all equally matched. That is the trend."

He continued: "Di Stefano is a club legend, and I am nobody in Real's history. But at the moment, I hold the position of coach, so I have the right to decide on tactics. I am the coach."

Speaking about tactics, the 48-year-old specialist added: "We want to attack and score when we have the ball. When the opponents do it, we have to defend as a team. The entire eleven must be active in both cases."
