London's "Tottenham" club has a new strategist. As it was announced a couple of days ago, the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who has been working in the "Southampton" team so far, has become the new coach.
The 42-year-old specialist takes over the reins of the "Spurs" team from the previously dismissed Tim Sherwood.
M. Pochettino arrived in England in January 2013 from the Barcelona team "Espanyol". He worked at the Catalan club since 2009 and led the team in 160 matches.
Meanwhile, in the "Southampton" team, the Argentine worked for a year and a half and managed the team in 60 matches. Arriving in England, he took over the team from Nigel Adkins. This season, the "Saints" team secured a high 8th place in the English Premier League.
With the "Tottenham" club, the Argentine signed a five-year contract.
