Marco Reus's agent denied reports that Bayern Munich is nearing an agreement with his client, although rumors of an imminent deal are already spreading in the media.
Lately, there have been talks about the future of the 25-year-old footballer in Borussia Dortmund, while Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hinted more than once that negotiations are already halfway through.
However, both M. Reus's agent and Borussia officials deny any transfer related to the German player.
"We have had no contact with Bayern," confirmed M.Reus's agent.
He was also supported by Borussia's sporting director Michael Zorc: "We will definitely try to keep Reus for as long as possible. He is very important to our team and is its leader."
M. Reus has a contract with Borussia until 2017, and his release clause is 35 million euros, which is tempting for many clubs.
