Argentinian national team member Maxi Rodriguez believes that Angel Di Maria, who moved to Manchester United, was not valued enough at Real Madrid.
After playing for four years in the Spanish capital, A. Di Maria moved to Man Utd for an impressive sum of 75 million euros. Many football specialists unanimously claim that it was a bad move for Real.
"I don't think that Di Maria was valued in Real Madrid as much as other players," said former Atletico Madrid footballer.
Current Atletico captain Gabi also supported this opinion: "Di Maria was the player who caused us the most difficulties during the derby. He dictated the pace of the game."
Overall, the Argentinian played 191 matches and scored 36 goals for the royal club.
