The champions of Germany team will have a new sports director.
Matthias Sammer, who held important positions in the Bayern team until now, announced that he is leaving his post.
The former famous player has been recovering from a brain disease since April, but now he insists he is completely healthy.
"I feel very good, I am healthy again - medical tests have confirmed it one hundred percent.
However, in recent weeks, I have not been visiting the team's office.
I had enough time to think about many things - my family and my work in the Munich team.
"If you are the sports director of Bayern, you must work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and give all your energy to the team and the fans. At the moment, I couldn't meet such demands," said Sammer.
It is said that the scandalous Uli Hoeness, who has been released from prison, is aiming to become the sports director, involved in tax evasion scandals.
