The leader of the "Premier" league club " has lost defender Mikael Silvestre by the end of this season. The footballer injured his shoulder during the Champions League round of 16 match against "Lille" last week.
It was previously announced that M. Silvestre would recover from the injury in a few weeks and return to the field before the end of the season, but it has now been revealed that the Frenchman will only be able to play again next season.
"Mikael needs surgery to restore the function of his shoulder joint. It will be performed on Monday, and the defender will only be able to return to sports after three months," said a representative of "Man Utd" club.
Currently, four Manchester club players are injured - Edwin van der Sar, Louis Saha, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Darren Fletcher.
