After a recovering from a heart attack, Fabrice Muamba faces a long rehabilitation.
The 23-year-old footballer lost consciousness in last weekend's FA Cup match against London's Tottenham and was rushed to the hospital.
"Although his condition has improved during this time, Fabrice is still in intensive care. A long rehabilitation period is ahead. He asked everyone to pray," - says the family statement.
Medics admitted to being surprised at how quickly Muamba's health is improving, as on that fateful day he was practically dead for 78 minutes.
