Mutu can end his career © EuroFootball.com

Former London attacker, Romanian Adrian Mutu, may leave the great football world. This was stated by the player a few days after the London club management decided to dismiss the Romanian national team striker, who used cocaine.

"Chelsea" expressed their strict stance on drugs with this decision. The player was caught after a routine blood test taken in September showed a positive result for doping. Later, the player himself admitted that during one party he used cocaine to "have a better time in bed."

Now Mutu, who came to "Chelsea" from the "Parma" club in August 2003 for £15.8 million, spoke about how the London club ruined his career: "Chelsea ruined me and I can't imagine what to do next. I am completely shocked at their decision (to dismiss me - ed.)"

"I thought they wouldn't pay me a salary until I was disqualified, but I never expected to be dismissed. Why didn't they wait a bit? Now my career is ruined. I could even end my career. What else do I have?"

Meanwhile, Arsenal's head coach Arsene Wenger did not rule out the possibility of acquiring the Romanian after serving his disqualification: "When his disqualification ends, he will be the same player as the others. He has the right to start over and will be free to negotiate with all clubs. I think I will meet him and listen to what he has to say."

"There have been many players in England who used drugs and then defended the honor of famous clubs again. I have no doubt that there will be famous clubs that will give him another chance," said the Arsenal coach.
