Club security guard Nick Buttas has been disqualified for three UEFA Cup matches. He received such sanctions after the UEFA Cup match against "Hapoel," where he clashed with opponent player Abbas Suan.
After appearing on the field as a substitute, N. Buttas started to conflict with A. Suan just two minutes later. The referee showed him a red card. Despite "Hapoel" having a numerical advantage, the match ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the English club.
The 29-year-old player will miss the return match and two more matches in the UEFA Cup group stage if "Newcastle" manages to overcome the barrier of the Israeli club.
