Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli is in serious trouble.
According to "La Stampa", the 22-year-old Italian is suspected of participating in illegal betting organized on platforms and thus violating the athlete's code of conduct.
Italian football rules state that professional players cannot bet on matches organized by FIGC, UEFA, and FIFA, as well as directly or indirectly place bets.
If N. Fagioli is found guilty, he could face a fine of more than 25,000 euros and a disqualification of up to 3 years.
