N. Kačarava remains in the "Panevėžio" club

In the upcoming season, we will also see Georgian Nika Kacharava at the Lithuanian champion club "Panevėžio." The contract with the 29-year-old striker has been extended for another year.

The representative of the Georgian national team arrived in Panevėžys at the end of last summer and played in seven matches in the A League - appearing in all of them as a substitute.

N. Kacharava made productive use of the 215 minutes he received, scoring a goal against Gargždai "Bangos" and Šiauliai "FA" gates. A productive pass was made in the match against Vilnius "Riteriai."

"It was a wonderful season for the team, we won the title and dominated in all matches. I joined the club late and didn't play in many matches, but I felt great on the field. I quickly understood what the coach and teammates expected from me, made many friends beyond the field in the team, so it was a great season.

We want to repeat last season and perform better in European competitions. We will start working hard for it," said the Georgian on the fk-panevezys.lt website.

"Panevėžys" started preparing for the new season on January 8, and N. Kačarava will join the team's training a bit later."
