Despite today's solid victory over Arsenal, which brought Chelsea one step closer to the English champions title, midfielder N'Golo Kante believes it is not yet time to hang up the medals.
Goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard, and Cesc Fabregas ensured that the advantage of the "aristocrats" over the "gunners" grew to 12 points.
Even if other teams in the top four win their matches, the closest pursuer Tottenham would still lag behind Conte's army by three wins.
"It wasn't the best performance we have shown, but it was important for us," Kante told BBC Sport.
"The fight for the title is not over yet, many things can happen."
Last year's Premier League winner with Leicester City also said that when he was playing in France, he never even dreamt of such success.
"When I was in France, I just had the ambition to stay in Ligue 1," added Kante. "I never expected to fight for a title one day."
"What we achieved last year is amazing, but this year we haven't won anything yet."
