"I play football and I want to be seen as a footballer," said N. Kante. "I do not want people to care about who I am beyond the field, what I do in my free time, who I really am. I would like to be asked about football, nothing else. I simply want to be a player, like everyone else."
"I am who I am. I don't know the best way to express it, but I definitely don't feel like the most sincere person in football and in life. I'm just myself.
"If I win, I win, if I lose, then I lose. I just try to give my all in every game. I don't do it because I'm a good person or anything like that. I just am myself," shared the Frenchman from his experience.
