Nemanja Matić says that in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, he expects aggressive play from "Sevilla," but "Manchester United" is confident in their chances of advancing to the next stage.
The "Red Devils" will play the first match in Spain tomorrow evening.
It will certainly not be easy at the opponents' stronghold, as they have currently won three consecutive victories and the additional pressure will be added by the fact that the strongest English club has not reached the quarterfinals of the European tournament for four years.
"They are a very good team, especially at home, where they have great fans supporting them for the full 90 minutes," Matić told the official "Man United" website.
"We expect them to be aggressive from the start. However, we know our task, we know our capabilities, and we will be ready for it."
"We are happy to be playing in the Champions League again. "Sevilla" is a great team, and for us, it is a great opportunity to compete against them - everyone is happy that we have the chance to play against them. We respect them a lot, we know they are a very good team, and I am sure that Wednesday will be a very good match for the fans."
The 29-year-old footballer hopes that "Man United" will be able to maintain their focus on defense when playing away.
"In the first leg away, it is important to achieve a good result and not concede a goal," Matić added.
"It will be tough, but we will do everything to achieve a good result, which is a win. We know what to expect."
