It was revealed that the Serbian player suffered a muscle injury and will have to miss several weeks of football.
Giving an interview before the match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that it is a huge loss, but such situations are inevitable during the course of the season.
"It is a huge blow for us. Matic has suffered a muscle injury, so he will be out of the game for a few weeks.
Avoiding such things during the season is impossible, so we will have to manage without him," - said the "Man Utd" manager before the match.
The "Red Devils" played a draw 0:0 with "Liverpool", and during the match three more players suffered injuries: Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard.
