N. Warnock did not spare criticism to the referees after "Chelsea" defeat

Due to a goal in stoppage time, the "Cardiff City" team fighting for survival in the "Premier" league suffered a painful defeat on Sunday when they lost 1:2 at home to London's "Chelsea" footballers.

Indeed, the failure of the Welsh team was also due to some serious referee errors. The most serious mistake could be considered the situation in the 84th minute of the match, when "Chelsea" defender Cesar Azpilicueta equalized the score by scoring a goal from an obvious offside position.

After the match, "Cardiff" coach Neil Warnock did not hide his anger at such refereeing and admitted that the VAR system is needed as soon as possible.

"We were just disappointed by the match officials, so the VAR system is needed as soon as possible. By the time the system is implemented, it might be too late for me, but that's exactly why it is needed.

"This is the best league in the world, but probably with the worst referees at the moment," - N. Warnock did not spare criticism.

"Speaking of the offside situation, it wasn't even a difficult decision. We worked for three weeks, but everything was determined by the referees' decisions.

All the hard work went in vain and it's not even our fault that the referee can't see the defender's line. It's the most obvious offside you can see," - the "Cardiff" coach spoke to "Sky Sports.

"Cardiff" is now five points behind the 17th placed team, "Burnley", after this defeat.
