"Napoli" and "Milan" lost points, "Lazio" and "Juventus" crushed opponents (VIDEO)

Yesterday the 33rd round of the Italian championship started with a shock, but the teams playing today were not inclined to slow down.

The first half between "Sassuolo" and "Napoli" passed quietly. However, action began with a goal by Dries Mertens at the beginning of the second half.

Shortly after, Marek Hamsik made a mistake and after Domenico Berardi's goal, the score became equal, but Maurizio Sarri's team started bombarding the opponent's goal again. Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne managed to hit the crossbar.

These dangerous attempts did not lead to a precise shot, and in the 80th minute, "Sassuolo" defender Luca Mazzitelli scored. Finally, the "Napoli" team had to be saved by substitute Arkadiusz Milik, who managed to score at least a point.

These are great news for the "Roma" club, which can further consolidate their second position tomorrow.

An unexpected home defeat was suffered by the "Milan" footballers, losing to "Empoli". The visitors took the lead at the end of the first half through Levan Mchedlidze. In the 59th minute, Suso had an excellent chance to equalize the score, but he failed to convert a penalty kick.

Seizing the opportunity, the opponents doubled their lead - with Mame Baba Thiam scoring a second goal. This goal, as it later turned out, was decisive, as Gianluca Lapadula also managed to score for the "rossoneri".

Their opponents, "Palermo", was simply crushed by the fourth-placed team "Lazio". Here, after a double by Ciro Immobile, the score was 2-0 in the tenth minute, and at the beginning of the half-time, Balde Keita had a hat-trick. This striker scored as many goals in six minutes as he had scored in all of 2017.

After the break, Palermo gave themselves some consolation goals, scored by Andrea Rispoli, but in the end "Lazio" solidified their victory through Luca Crecco.

In the evening, the tournament leaders, Turin's "Juventus", crushed the "Genoa" club. In this match, the first goal was an own goal by Genoa's defender Ezequiel Munoz, and a few minutes later Paulo Dybala scored. Before the break, Mario Mandzukic scored to make the "bianconeri's" lead even more convincing in the first half.

The opponents were finally put away by Juventus in the 64th minute when midfielder Leonardo Bonucci scored a long shot, adding three more points to their tally.

The chances of Massimiliano Allegri's team winning another "Scudetto" are becoming more and more real.
