On Tuesday evening, five second-leg matches of the final qualifying round for the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League group stage were played.
The most attention was drawn to the match in France, where "Nice" hosted "Napoli". "Nice" was left out of the Champions League with an aggregate score of 0-4, as the Italians proved their superiority.
The first match in Naples ended with a victory for the hosts 2-0, so there wasn't much suspense leading up to this match. The first goal of this match came in the 48th minute, scored by Jose Callejon, and the final point was sealed after a precise shot by Lorenzo Insigne in the 89th minute.
In other matches, "Sevilla" also secured a spot in the group stage after drawing 2-2 at home against "Basaksehir". In the first meeting, the Andalusians had achieved victory with a 2-1 result.
In another match, Glasgow "Celtic" lost 3-4 to "Astana", but after a stunning victory in the first match, they proceeded to the group stage.
Next season, "Maribor" and Piraeus "Olympiakos" will also compete in the Champions League.
