On Sunday, the seventh round of the Italian championship continues. In total, eight matches were played.
Last season, the silver medalists "Roma" faced "Palermo" away. Rudi Garcia's players dominated their opponents from the very first minutes, with Miralem Pjanic scoring after Alessandro Florenzi's pass. Florenzi himself added a goal in the 14th minute, while Gervinho scored in the 28th minute.
By halftime, it was clear that "Giallorossi" would secure three points, but "Palermo" still tried to resist, and at the end of the second half, after Giancarlo Gonzalez's goal, the result became 3-2. However, just a few moments later, Gervinho scored again, securing the victory for the capital team, which allowed them to rise to fourth place.
Meanwhile, the leader of the table, at least until the evening, was Milan's "Inter". However, Roberto Mancini's troops only managed to get a draw in Genoa against the local team "Sampdoria".
The home team took the lead thanks to Luis Muriel's strike in the sixth minute of the second half, and despite controlling the ball for only one-third of the total game time, they fought to the end. However, all their efforts were not enough, as Ivan Perisic scored a goal in the 76th minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
