"Napoli" legend M. Hamšík leaves for China

"Napoli" will soon lose their club symbol - Marek Hamsik has decided to put a stop to Europe and leave to play in China. The 31-year-old midfielder today helped his team win 3-0 against Genoa's "Sampdoria". It is likely that these were his farewell matches. "Sky Italy" reports that the footballer has reached an agreement with the Chinese club "Dalian Yifeng", which offered the Slovak a lucrative three-year contract. "Napoli" should receive a compensation of 15 million euros for their captain. M. Hamsik became an absolute legend of "Napoli" in about 12 years. The midfielder joined the team in 2007 and has been playing for them ever since. During that time, he managed to play 519 matches and score 121 goals. M. Hamsik holds the record for most matches played and goals scored for "Napoli". Before joining "Napoli", the Slovak played for "Brescia" and Bratislava's "Slovan" clubs.
