“Serie A” second round on Saturday evening provided a real football dessert with “Napoli” and “AC Milan” facing each other.
Showing character and picking themselves up after conceding two goals, “Napoli” managed to defeat “Milan” footballers 3:2 and add three points to their account.
Milan's players surged ahead in the 15th minute when Giacomo Bonaventura got the better of David Ospina.
However, the visitors from the fashion capital also started the second half better. Then Davide Calabria was able to double the lead for the “Milan” team.
Nevertheless, “Milan” team could not enjoy their lead for long. In the 53rd minute, Piotr Zielinski spoke up and started “Napoli's” rise from the ashes.
The same P. Zielinski scored his second goal after 14 minutes and managed to equalize the score.
Even though it seemed like the teams might have to settle for one point each, “Napoli” was not ready to accept that.
After appearing in the box as a substitute, Dries Mertens took advantage of a great pass from Allan and scored the winning goal without any hindrance.
Last week, “Napoli” also secured three points, although they fell behind in one match. However, the Italian vice-champions only had a one-goal deficit against “Lazio.".
