Kalidou Koulibaly's career could have taken a turn this summer and not to Chelsea's team. Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentis revealed that the next stop in the Senegalese's career could have been Barcelona, but one reason prevented it. "Koulibaly wanted to leave the team and I told him: I can't sell you to Barcelona because they don't have the money. Then we received an offer from Chelsea and I couldn't say no. I offered Koulibaly a salary of 6.5 million euros per year, but he wanted to leave," - revealed Napoli's president. London's Chelsea signed the 31-year-old center-back for 40 million euros. This was the second purchase of the "aristocrats" in this mid-season.
