"Napoli" president: "Real" asking too much for Rodriguez"

"Napoli" president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed that the club is doing everything to bring James Rodriguez to Italy.

The Colombian, not in favor at Madrid's "Real", wants to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti and represent the "Napoli" team. The "Blues" have valued him at 42 million euros, but even this amount seems too high for the Italians.

"James is in our hearts, especially for that person who has already coached him - Ancelotti. His problem is that we have to negotiate with Madrid's "Real" club," said A. De Laurentiis.

"We are trying to remain strong and not give in to what Florentino Perez demands. We don't need to panic, as we already have a strong team. We want new players, but we understand that we cannot make mistakes," added the "Napoli" president.

It is worth mentioning that "Napoli" initially wanted to just borrow the player, but this possibility was immediately rejected by Madrid's "Real".
