"Napoli" representative: Higuain did not ask to be sold

"Napoli" representative to the press Nicola Lombardo assured that the club's star Gonzalo Higuain does not want to leave anywhere.

This comment is very interesting, as reports in the press in recent days have published the exact opposite information - allegedly the striker wants to move to Turin's "Juventus."

It was also reported that London's "Arsenal" is interested in him, and they are ready to offer Olivier Giroud to the South Italian team.

"Gonzalo never said he wants to leave," Lombardo replied to the question asked by the fan.

"Juve" didn't inquire about him, and Aurelio De Laurentiis (President of "Napoli" - ed.) also does not want to sell him.

"We are talking about rumors fueled by the media, creating stories one after another. Nevertheless, on July 25th he will be here and will start preparing for the season."

The 28-year-old sniper scored 36 goals in the Serie A championship last season and improved a record that has been around for more than half a century.
