"Napoli" team on Sunday evening in the 35th round of the "Serie A" match at home defeated "Cagliari" with a score of 2:1 and secured the title of vice-champions of Italy.
"Cagliari" took the lead in the 63rd minute after L. Pavoletti's goal, but D. Mertens equalized the score in the 85th minute.
"Napoli" saved themselves in extra time when L. Insigne converted a penalty kick. Shortly before the penalty kick, "Cagliari" player A. Ionita was sent off.
After this victory, the "Napoli" team became unreachable for the "Inter" players who are currently in third place.
